The Cahors Congregation
image003We have been worshipping in Cahors since 1964. Our congregation started with home-meetings and has met over the years in two Roman Catholic chapels.  We now worship in the chapel of the Roman Catholic Centre Paroissial in Terre Rouge every Sunday morning at 10.00. We attract an average

congregation of 40 or more, some members travelling 60 kms to be with us on Sundays. Services on the major festivals are well attended, our Christmas Carol services being especially popular.

Members contribute to our worship by helping to lead services, reading, and serving refreshments. Bring and Share lunches, for example after the AGM in February and after pre-Lent and Harvest Festival services, are regular features on the calendar.  There are also several
Home Groups active in offering fellowship and building connections, and we hope to establish groups in other areas.

Under the leadership of the Revd
June Hutchinson, Assistant Curate for the Chaplaincy, our church continues to develop, with growing participation in social activities within the wider community. This is a great place to live, and our worship and fellowship really add to the experience. Do join us.

We celebrate Holy Communion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, with other forms of morning service on the other Sundays. On the occasional 5th Sunday we hold either Songs of Praise or Holy Communion in the morning, and also hold traditional Evening Prayer at 15.00 (please note that this is a change for 2012 from the 16.00 service in earlier years).

See Current Diary for services and other coming events and items of interest during this quarter.
